Island Princess

I've booked a cruise on the Island Princess on August 30.

I'm a little confused, though...is this a NEW ship...or only new to the Princess line?

And if it is indeed new (I understood that the first sailings were to be in July, 2003), has anyone heard about any problems -- like, will she be ready to sail? Thanks!

This is a new ship. just went on sea trials this week. We will be aboard on 2/4/04. There is an ongoing thread on cruisecritic.com with info and refers you to another site with pictures...
