We are booked on the Island Princess category BD deck B for an early September Alaska cruise, does anyone have any comments on the ship or cabin location?

Well I was on her identical sister ship the Coral..=love..Our favorite ship so far..and your cabin sounds fine!!..:thumb..in fact we are already looking to lock down a 15 day LA to Hawaii Booking (while on board the Golden Princess)on the Island Princess.. This coming February we will take advantage of ship offers.....even have the room picked!!..have a great time ..=welcome to cruise @ddicts..we like to meet all the :newbies..join us at the Community forum as well..post often and we'd love to help with any info you need..Happy research for your cruise...:)..Joanne

:wave Ahh...The Island Princess ! One of my favorite ships. She is a beautiful ship and we enjoyed a wonderful Panama Canal sailing on her last october. I'm sure you'll be fine in choice of cabin and enjoy your Alaska sailing. :cheers Happy cruising ! =bigwave =bigwave

Like CC we just sailed on her sister the Coral in March and IMO these two ships are VERY well designed. I was a bit dis-illusioned by the Aft pool area as the Terrace pool on the Grand Clas ships is SO nice and IMO they lost the boat in the design of the Aft pool area on the Coral and Island. However the rest of the ship IMO was VERY well laid out . :thumb
