Greetings from on board the Caribbean Princess. There’s a lot of frustration because weather prevented us from making two of our four stops. No one can control the weather and safety first, but I’ve only seen this happen three times and all three were with Princess. And like they say, once is a fluke, twice is a coincidence, three times is a pattern.

My question is this: does anyone know of a site that reports on metrics for cruise lines? Akin to what the airlines do - delays, cancellations, etc.? (Except this would be for successful completion of planned itinerary.) Airlines can’t control weather either, but we still get to see their stats around schedule vs. actuality.

I’m definitely going to take a break from Princess for a while, even though I know no one can control the weather. It’s never happened to me in any other line, so maybe Princess needs to update their copy of “Poor Richard’s” or something.

Hi, @JenLikesCruises. We are glad to have you as part of our community. I'm sorry to hear you had some problems. Unfortunately, this is very widespread due to some unexpected weather problems. To answer your question, I'm unaware of a site that tracks such issues. They are rare and normally due to severe weather or mechanical problems. The MSC Meraviglia got rerouted, and it's made a lot of news on TV and in print.
