We are booked on the Jewel of The Seas for the April 30th transatlantic out of Ft. Lauderdale to Harwich in JS #1086. Does anyone have any info on this particular cabin? Also, as this is our first time going to Europe by ship, what can anyone tell us about the ports? We're not concerned about Bermuda, it's Lisbon, Vigo, Le Havre and Zeebrugge that we are unfamiliar with.

Thanks,
John

John, we loved Lisbon, there is so much to see and not enough time to do it. We did a tour that included that Maritime Museum and with their Maritime History, it was very interesting. From LeHavre, you can take a day trip to Paris (we did this, but it is very rushed). The one we loved was to Normandy. They take you to the American Cemetery, it is so very peaceful and beautiful - windswept. My heart ached for the lives lost there. Then also to several of the landing beaches, Omaha, Gold, etc. and you can walk around some of the German bunker remains. We had a nice lunch and then to the World War Museum. It shows so much of the progression of the war.
The other two ports I have not been to. If I can answer anyother question of Lisbon or LeHavre let me know.

I don't know anything about that cabin, but we love Jewel. We will be back on her in July in the Baltic.
