Just back from Victory and had a fabulous time. Embarkation is a nigtmare like everyone has said, but just be patient. We were there at 10:00 and checked in by 10:30, but customs was very slow clearing the ship and we actually didn't board until 1:00. We stood in line with lots of other people until we were finally let onboard. Had lunch on the lido deck and watch the line of people snake around the building for hours. Go early, you have to wait in line, but will be one of the first having lunch.
Debarkation was a snap. Self Debarkation went first, our color was called next and we were off the boat by 10:00. Customs was easy as well. Lots of people, but it seamed to be going smoothly.
Not many children on board, but those that were on were very well behaved and spend most of their time in camp carnival. We picked chairs right next to the water slide entrance most days and enjoyed listening to them and watching them slide down. They were all pretty entertaining.
The food was great. We had wonderful waitstaff and room stewards. The only place I found anyone truly "grumpy" or unhappy was on the lido deck buffet, but then only a couple of times.
The spa is terribly overpriced, but wonderful. Had a message and a facial and was well worth it.
Our cabin was 7426, and aft balcony. Loved the view. It was quite a bit longer than the side balconies, and we really enjoyed it.
The shows we went to were wonderful. Very talented dancers and the two lead singers had wonderful voices.
Can't really say enough about how hard the crew works to keep the ship clean. Saw them cleaning the windows on the outside of the ship every day, as well as railings, vents in the hallways, places you'd expect to be cleaned weekly were cleaned every day.
Any questions about the ship, or the Eastern itinerary, just ask.
