Balconies do tend to spoil you, don't they? The newer ships offer a greater percentage of balcony cabins and the cost differential has come down somewhat because of that. You will also find that a great many people still cruise very happily with an inside cabin which is the most economical (not like travelling in steerage - same opportunities as the balcony folks ). Personally, I think it's an individual's decision based on the itinerary, style of cruising, and of course economics. Would I give up a balcony to afford a cruise? You bet! Would I choose a balcony if I could? You bet!And yes, the Dawn is a beautiful ship. Good luck on your November plans. I don't think they start that itinerary until January, so be watching the boards then.
