Returned on June 12. Cruise was great. No complaints at all. Food, service, accomodations were excellent. Will answer any questions you may have. Was in cabin B753.

Thanks in advance for your help!

My room will be B319. Is this the same floor you were on. If so, how was the balcony?

Did you try Sabitini's?

Please let me know what was on the menu.

Greatly appreciate it.!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

And how did you enjoy the Alternative Restaurants, if you ate there?

We were in B756 and that put us next to a noisy air vent, 754 should be quieter. We didn't have a lounge chair on our balcony so we asked and they brought one the next day

CharlieZ, are there other brands of beer instead of the Dos XX?
When can anyone play paddle tennis? at what time? is there a tournament?
Smokers are bothered all the time not to smoke here or there?
Thank you,
Ritmo

Ritmo, I just returned and will post a separate thread about beer because someone asked me that question (was it you?) when I posted from sea.

Ritmo, I posted about beer, and also mentioned the paddle tennis on the community message board. Hope it helps!

Guys, sorry for the delay in responding, you know how it is when you return to work following vacation. We had the aft cabin as mentioned above. It was great, kind of a gentle rocking motion was noticed when you went to bed. We enjoyed it, seemed to rock us to sleep. Tried the Steakhouse as an alternate restaurant, name excapes me at the moment. Very good, well worth the $15.00 per person. Make reservations as soon as you know that you want to eat there. Didn't try the paddle tennis, not sure of the times or tournaments. Room B319 will be on the same deck, Baja but toward the bow of the ship. Regarding entertainment, we visited the Princess Theater for a broadway type show, very entertaining. Also lounges where on-ship bands, entertainers will perform. Some selections of music not to my taste but variety is present. Some of the comedy shows include some language which may not be suitable for younger children but nothing too offensive. One of the comedy acts is advertised as for adults. Hope I haven't forgotten any questions, oh yea, the beer. I didn't drink beer but seemed to me that several choices were available. If I missed you, please ask again and I'll do my best.

Regarding smokers, most areas of the ship are intended to be non-smoking. Port side of Promanade deck is for outside smoking, non smoking on the starborad. Some lounges and all restaurants are non smoking. Outside by the pools smoking is allowed but you will notice again that port side is where most smokers are. (that's where they put the ashtrays).

Re-read the question regarding shows suitable for youngsters. At age 16, probably not much of a problem for the regular shows. Use your judgement regarding the show advertised for adults.

Did you happen to peak on the balcony of B751, how did they handle the beam being there. Just curious....

Thanks

I did peek at the next door balcony because I had heard of the beam. It didn't seem as if the neighbors used the balcony at all. However, it didn't seem to be a problem. Probably couldn't put a lounge chair on the balcony but they are not furnished with loungers anyway. My balcony also had a beam as I believe most of them on the back do but it was not a hinderance to us enjoying the balcony.

We are booked in B753 in 2005. Did you have any problems in the cabin? Was the balcony larger then the standard ones on Baja deck ... noticed that you mentioned a beam and that it was not a problem ... will four standard chairs and a table fit on the balcony?

FYI on B751 it does have a beam and we had it booked, but were able to switch to B749 and I have to say it was much nicer! I looked next door onto B751 and the beam was pretty large and more near the railing. We were on our balcony a lot and din't notice that the people in B751 were on theirs. We only heard them out there once in 7 days.

I'm sure you can work around the beam, but if you don't have to, don't.
