Check with people who have been on Princess, but our experience on RCL with the Pitons was great. We did not book a trip to them because we had heard the Captain would sail us to them....and he did. We sailed down the coast. When we got there, he turned the ship around so everyone could get a great view...then off to sea. They were beautiful and it cost us nothing extra. It would be worth checking into. Also, regarding shopping....if you are looking for handmade items from the island go to the "strawmarket". Across from it it a large brick building. Inside are many stalls and we found some very unusual items at a good price. We also found a guy making palm leaf baskets. Great shopping with the locals....probably our favorite shopping experience on any of the islands.
