From what I have read on other boards, one of Costa Maya's goals is to present itself as the unspoiled area that it is now, and to preserve and protect it's ecosystem. I understand that the area is very underdeveloped, the pier itself is quite simple and contrived, and the history and culture are wonderful I am also looking for info from anyone who has been there! Please share your experiences? This is a hard port to gather info on as it seems to be a relatively new one. It doesn't really appear to be a port one can "do" on their own, true?
