I took the Pennock Island kayak tour last year. I've heard that the same company has moved its operation to Clover Pass this year. You might want to check to see if the Pennock Island tour still exists.

If you have the time, the Tatoosh Island Kayak Tour offers a 4+ hour experience with ample opportunity to view wildlife.

My wife and I did Pennock last Sept. and enjoyed it , only wildlife we saw though were a lot of eagles.
