Per my son:
"Some of the things we did were: a casino night (played for candy, but my brother won a Jr. Pictionary game at the end), free arcade night, a scavenger hunt, some craft projects, colored t-shirts that they gave us, watched a movie one night, we played board games and group games, and got a tour of the bridge (which even my parents werent allowed to do). There were TV's other things to do in the club area (hard to remember it all now). At Princess Cays there was an area just for kids. There was a play structure, we got to squirt each other with water, and play with our friends. The counselors were really nice, they played with us, and were really fun. I want to go on the Grand Princess again."
From a parents view: Of course we knew of the programs before going, but didnt expect our kids to spend a whole lot of time in them. Well, long story short, the kids didnt really want to be with us most of the time. They wanted to play with the other kids and do the fun things in the club (Im talking about during times we were at sea, in port they went ashore with us even though I think they were allowing you to leave your kids aboard even in port). The boys would take breaks to eat dinner, but then head right back to the programs. It was great because even though we were on a family vacation, we still had plenty of "adult" time. They ask us all the time when we are going on a cruise again.
