Hi,the shot didnt do much good,so they are going to try a nerve root block which they do on your side with a catheter right into your nerve,more dangerous but they feel it might help,it determines if this is where the pain is coming from or not,my mom and daughter dont want me to have it done,they think it is too dangerous and I could end up with damaged nerves or paralazed,I havent decided yet,unfornately they cant get me in until Aug. 6th,gives me a lot of time to worry and think about it which I way overdo anyway,I am so tired of living in misery,not being able to walk well,having extremely tight feet and butt and very numb legs and nights are even worse,and now I have been getting charley horses and cramps real bad so bought a mess of bananas,the steroids take away all your potassium,doctor has no guarantee this will work and these procedures are very expensive even with insurance,about 500 a pop which I hate John shilling out if they dont even work plus we paid for our cruise and I dont know if we can even go now and we wont get much back if we do cancel as they denied me trip insurance due to a health issue that was already there,so yes Denise I am kinda down.
