Surgery went well. Won't know for a while if they got all the cancerous tissue out. He got through the night very well -- slept better than I did. The surgeon did give him a prescription for oxycodone for pain -- but so far -- no pain so he has bot taken any pills. He'll have a nice scar on his arm -- the incision is about 2 inches long and 1/2 inch wide. The stitches should come out on the 14th. In the mean time he isn't to lift anything heavier than 10 pounds.

Thanks for letting us know. Sounds good so far. Great news that he hasn't had to take any of the Oxcy. Bad stuff. Works well, but very addictive. As far as the scar, well ... for guys, scars are not that big a deal. If it is an issue, we will be glad to help him pick out a nice tattoo during a future shore excursion. Maybe the HAL Logo?

I was glad that Joe didn't have to take any of the oxycodone -- he already takes 17 medications.

Haven't heard anything about the lab results yet.
