Large groups at dinner

Can anyone tell me what would be the best way to have a group of 10 or 11 eat together for dinner, other than the obvious of going early or late. Also how many do the tables hold and will they move tables around to accommodate larger groups or do you have to wait for a bigger table?

Thanks in advance for any info.

With that large a group, you should be able to reserve a larger table at the main restaurants. Table sizes vary by restaurant and ship aboard NCL ships. From two seats to a dozen seats, possibly more.
To accomodiate the most possible larger parties, reserving seatings at large tables to early and late is best for the most. There really aren't that many tables in the restaurants that can seat a dozen.

Like many lines, anything over 8 is a bit tricky. we just did a group cruise on the Star. I would suggest you talk the matre 'D the day you arrive or email the ship coordinator ahead of time and explain the situation. Of course if you all want to eat together this will take away from the freestyle concept as you will need to request reservations ahead of time. good luck,
