Laundry rooms on the Pride?

There have been laundry facilities on most of the other cruises I have been on, and the ship profile on the Pride says self serve laundry, but don't see them on the deck plans. Anyone know for sure if they are there and do they have ironing boards, or do we sneak an iron on this ship?

There are coin-operated laundry rooms. I'm not sure exactly where they are. Irons/boards in each laundry.

Please dont sneak on an iron. (if the cabin steward sees it--it could be confiscated. Irons pose a fire hazzard on the ship as the outlets are not equipped for them.

The pride does have laundry rooms. (I dont know where they all are located but they are located on every other deck) we used the one on deck 5- across the hall from 5268

you wont see hemlocated on the deck plans online but will be on the little map they give you on the sh

I already knew they would confiscate it, thats why I said "sneak it on" Is a steam only iron considered a fire hazard too? But if there are laundry rooms, I am sure we are OK. We are on deck 4 so I guess we will have to scope it out. Thanks

You can bring a "steamer". Other alternatives including putting on the hot water in the bathtroom untyil steam builds--hanging clothing there; using Downy "Wrinkle Releaser" [or a similar product].

There are definitely self-serve laundry facilities with irons and ironing boards on the Pride. Used them when we cruised on her. But be sure to look carefully at the bottom of the iron and clean it before you use it, since I saw a lady scorch the fire out of a really nice shirt because there was some kind of melted plastic on the bottom of the iron she was using!

Do not wait til formal night (day ) to use the iron. You will find these laundry rooms VERY busy-- with lines out the door and down the hall. If needing to iron--do so on the first day onboard.
