I live in Long Beach and the pier's are about 25 minute's apart by car. If you go by the freeway it can be longer than that. The Star will sail from Los Angeles not Long Beach, so be careful if your in a cab. I sail on the Star next week form Vancouver to Los Angeles on her repo cruise.Richard
