My wife and I have finished packing and are ready to leave tomorrow for our air journey to Barcelona to catch the Golden Princess for it's next Med cruise. Thanks to everyone who answered my questions and also to all of you who posted your experiences on this ship and cruise.
It will be our first Princess cruise (6 HAL, 1 Costa and 1 RCCL) and our first European cruise (most others have been in the Caribbean and one Panama Canal transit cruise). Hopefully the cruise will go well. We have tried hard to prepare for the cruise and find out what we could about the ports and the ship and I think it will make the cruise that much better.
After we return, August 1, and once we get ourselves settled in again (do the wash, check the mail, pick up the cat at the kennel), I will post some comments about our cruise. Hopefully I can live up to the standards that some of the others have set in their posts.
