My wife and I will be on the Carnival Legend's 11/29/03 Western Caribbean cruise to Belize, Costa Rica and Panama. We would love to meet some fellow cruisers via this e-mail channel and then look forward to meeting you on the cruise.
We would also love some "insider tips" on the ship from any of the Legend's past cruisers shore excursions, especially those provided by independents and taxi services at the ports.
Since we are academics who love to learn about varied parts of the U.S. and the world at large from our fellow passengers, we hope for the chance to meet a wide range of similarly inclined passengers from many parts of the U.S. and many parts of the world on the 11/29 cruise. If you also enjoy learning about the world from your fellow passengers as part of your cruise experience, we hope for your response to this inquiry and and identification of your country or state of origin. We can then make arrangements to meet onboard.
With a special interest in meeting international travelers, we hope all non-U.S. citizens will meet in the Legend's chapel (on Deck # 3, between the Holmes Library and Billie's Piano Bar) on Sunday, 11/30, at l:00 PM. This will provide an early chance for a special comaraderie to develop for foreign travelers(always a minority on Carnival's Caribbean cruises) during the cruise.
