I just noticed Libby's cruise countdown clocks.
NINE (count em folks) Nine cruises in 8 months.

Jealous is just not a strong enough word to describe this feeling I just got!!!!
Libby... several of your cruises are back to back on the same ship.
I've actually thought about doing this but my wife thought I was kidding.

I'm sitting here astonished at your collection of booked cruises....
If you would be so kind, could you tell me/us a little something about yourself
and this LOVELY lifestyle you've accomplished!??!

I'm thinking that I could do this also if I lived closer to the Ft Lauderdale/Miami
area.... You got my gears turning !!!!!!!

For starters, I'm not a travel agent and we live in Grand Rapids, MI. However, I'm employed full time, as a consultant, and I generally work and travel on an average of 80 hours a week. Our one and only way of taking vacations is cruising, so anytime I have a window of time that I don't have to be at a meeting, teaching a class, etc., we book a cruise. Also - it's not totally a vacation as I take my laptop whenever we go, and keep up with work - which is fine, because I can work when and where I want to (wireless by the pool ....). If I have conference calls that I have to be involved in, I can do those from the ship. Though sometimes I hate the concept of all the new technology allowing us to work anytime, anywhere - for me it works. I can get off a 7 night cruise and have done enough billable hours to pay for the next cruise.

B2Bs are the best --- I love the last night of the first leg as everyone is packing, and we're relaxing, and then have the ship to ourselves for about 1.5 hours embarkation day waiting for new guests on board.

We use my business airtravel miles for our airline tickets, and we've traveled with RCCL enough, we get pretty good deals.

One group of my staff for a consulting group I associate with have a sign in my office that says "SHE WORKS TO CRUISE". Pretty close to the truth.

P.S. Our cruise countdown clock doesn't include a new booking (B2B) on the Radiance for July 2009 ........ and I'm seeing pretty big gaps between the AD in Feb. until we go on the Radiance .......... but my schedule is pretty much up in the air now during that time, so I'm waiting to see what times I have I have travel.
