Liberty Balcony Size

Just about all of them are 4' x 10', or 40 sq ft. There are a few cabins with larger balconies but you have to really search the deck plans to find them.

You are right on the size. However, the bigger balconies are the aft corner balconies and the balconies belonging to suites.

I believe all the balconys aft are larger. 60 sq ft I was told. We have an aft balcony 8C booked on the Liberty for Oct. 10 Europe cruise and on her sister ship the Valor for next Sun. Mar. 26, (yea! Can't wait!) Both are the cabins next to the corner. The corner cabins are 9A. We've had aft balcony cabins on Celebrity and RCCL last year. Spoiled now. Carnivals are supposed to be bigger. Our TA said Carnival told her 60 sq ft. We think they're the best cabins on the ship. Looking forward to Carnival's version.

Mack,
You are correct. The Aft Balconies are larger than most of the side balconies. We had an aft cabin on the Truimph last year and it is bigger than the side ones we've had. We are booked in an aft cabin again on Liberty April 1st sailing.

Hi Cruizer,
Is this your first time on Glory? We sailed on The Glory August of 2003 and loved the ship. On most of the Carnival ships the aft balconies are larger than the side balconies. When we booked on Triumph our PVP told me about it and it was true. Love the balconies back there. Now when I say aft balconies I'm talking about the ones on the stern. When I booked us on the Liberty our PVP (same as before) said the same thing. We are in the same spot as we were on the Truimph. Is this your first aft cabin? (stern) You'll love it.

This is my first time on the Glory. However, I had one of the corner aft balconies on the Pride (all 220 sq. ft.). So this is my second aft facing balcony. I had side facing balconies on the Navigator OTS and NCL Star.

Hi Cruizer,

I think you like the aft facing balcony. It won't be as long as your corner aft but it will be larger than the side balconies. Hubby and I loved the one we had last year and can't wait for the next one on Liberty in just less than two weeks. So far Glory is one of our fav. ships. Hope you like her as much as we did.

I have an aft corner balcony on the Liberty this coming weekend. My PVP at Carnival told me (if I understood right) the aft cormers are the larger ones and the center ones are the standard size. I'll be posting a review when I get back the first weed of April and I'll give you first hand info.

I had my first side balcony on the Liberty in February. Haiving sailed the aft the last 7 cruises I was VERY disappointed in my balcony.

They are very narrow. You cant sit the chair to look straight at the water with being comfortable. THe chair has to sit sideways.so you can stretch your legs.

I am now booked back on the aft come Destiny in Sept and Caribbean Princess next February-- never will I book a side one again.
Cruz man demensions make the balcony sound so big... it isnt.

Herb/Judy The 9A wrap around balconies are indeed the larger ones on the Liberty , however all the stern balconies are what is described as extended which means deeper and the side cabins aft (there are 2 on each side) have what is also described as extended balconies which are the dame depth but longer than the standard ones.
I was in an stern 6485 extended on the Liberty Europe sailing and my DD was in 6450 side aft extended, friends were in a standard and we visited the wrap around next to my cabin for a look see as I have that one on the upcomming April 1st Liberty.
Hope this helps from personal experience
