LIBERTY OF THE SEAS IS AWESOME!!!

We were fortunate enough to have taken the first 2 day voyage oboard the LIBERTY OF THE SEAS last friday, May 4th. I was on the FREEDOM OF THE SEAS last year and I loved it...but I have to say...I liked the LIBERTY even more. There is something about the decor that is more relaxing to the eye...the ship gave me a warm feeling of comfort as well as style...it is hard to pinpoint. The LOS is gorgeous and the crew already seems acclimated to the ship. I thought the elevators seemed bigger...but that might be my imagination. The crowds were handled with ease and all the food and services were just great. For those who are already booked, I would say that you will not be disappointed...the LIBERTY OF THE SEAS is going to be a big hit!!!

HEY KATHY!!!

GREAT TO HEAR FROM YOU!!! Say HI to Bill and Rita!!! You are going tolove the LIBERTY OF THE SEAS. This one has a certain elegance that I cannot pin point...I will have to travel on her extensively in order to write a good review...LOL. I loved the Royal Suite on LIBERTY...same size and design as the JEWEL (the best) but the LOS RS has a big Jacuzzi on the veranda...YES!!!

PUNA PUNA!!!

We are sailing on the JEWEL in OCT for the Transatlantic 12 nights...then we will be doing the JEWEL in 2008 for the infamous Boston Repo to Miami...unless we get something on the FREEDOM Class in between...LOL.

Please, if you got any photos so post them here on the Cruise @ddicts photo gallery. Can't wait for my cruise in December when I do a back2 back with Liberty of the Seas.
Did really like Freedom of the Seas last year.

Great! This is what I've heard from other people too - that the ship is even nicer than the Freedom!

We just got our docs for the Liberty yesterday - 5 1/2 weeks prior to sailing! Can't wait to go!!

Christoffer - I have a ton of links to pics if you want them.

Thanks for the pics! Can I ask you something about the handicapped cabins? My kids are booked in one, and the agent said the couch folds out to a double bed. Is there room for that plus the arm chair, table, and an electric mobility scooter? Thanks!

HI Travelitis!!!

The handicapped cabins are extremely spacious...you should have no problem at all with the scooter. The cabins were designed for that.

Thanks! It looked like the scooter might have to block the closet, but hopefully not. I appreciated the pics - Very well done!
