Glad to see you kept a positive outlook in spite of your circumstances and that you won't let this stop you from future cruisings! Although with 25 cruises under your belt you know what to expect by now! It is unfortunate that there are those out there that let circumstances ruin their vacations and that they can't be understanding when something out of the cruise line's control happens. I'm glad to see Carnival took precautions following the outbreak on the cruise prior to yours. It's unfortunate that your vacation was cut short but I'm happy to see you made the best of it and still enjoyed yourself! We missed our stop in Costa Maya earlier this year on the Valor due to the weather but we didn't let it ruin our trip. I was disappointed because I'd never been but was happy with the ship board credit that Carnival gave us and enjoyed the extra day at sea. I'm sure your looking forward to your full vacation next year on the Liberty!

Thanks for the review. We're sailing on the Liberty on Dec.31 and I really appreciate your fair take on the situation. I'm also supposed to be a "Platinum Guest" so it will be interesting to see if there are any benefits lol.
