I'm visiting Limon in November onboard the Summit. Does anyone have an opinion about Celebrity's Tortuguero Canal tour? I really want to see some of the country, but without a super long bus ride inland. Thanks so much for your help....

Sorry I can not help you with this, as we did the whitewater rafting. But to see the countryside there it will entail a fairly long journey on any kind of transportation that you take.
I have to say that if that bus is as grand as the one we traveled out into the country for our tour was.. then the 4 hours will be a breeze.
It was a very modern and plush bus.
We enjoyed this port.
And it had another plus for us.. These days most ports sport the same shops selling the same stuff.. On this stop they have not got "modernized" yet.. so right on the docks there is a large area set up with the locals selling their handicrafts.. You can find some very different and well made things there.. I hope some day to go back before it is spoilt, and turns into the same old stuff.

Also, we went out the gate into the small community behind the stalls. There was a lot to see there too. We stopped at a corner open bar and had a local brew.

A very nice port.
