We took this tour and I highly recommend it! Once you get off the ship continue to the tour vendor that has a canopy tent. There will be a sign with Tortugera Canal Tour and the price, thus no haggling. Our tour not only included a great view of the country, stop at a beach, the canal tour, a walking tour of the Dole Banana plantation and a stop to see a 3 toed sloth, monkies and the native flora and fauna. All this for $35 per couple. It was great. Our driver Humberto, even took me to a local supermarket to buy coffee and vanily. We shared the car with another couple too. Bon Voyage
