The River Eco-Tour was good. It was about an hours bus ride to the boat, and about 30-40 minutes back. On the boat we had an excellent guide who pointed out differenct types of trees, animals, and birds. We saw 3 or 4 different kinds of monkeys, 3 different kinds of sloths, a number of birds, and a gator sunning themselves.If you have a chance, go earlier in the day. Our tour was about 10:30 to noon, and a lot of animals are hiding from the sun already.Son and I walked around Limon for several hours without any problems of any kind. There is also a nice crafts center within the docking area.[I/we would not walk in Colon by ourselves.]Charles
