.....is great.
We went on a cruise two months ago..and just booked this one today..
Nothing like sleeping in your own bed...waking up..driving 45 mins and being at the port...
Anyone else have this luxury?
:)

Yes, I live close to port of tampa. No parking fees is nice too.About 3 hours to port canaveral. Not a bad ride to FLL or Miami either.

We have a 30 minute drive to the Port of Vancouver. It sure is nice but I wish Alaska was warmer!

I live in NJ and I am going to cruise on Norwegian Dawn in October, so yes in goes out of NY. In 2 years my mom is moving to florida, so I hope to get her to go on more cruises down there with me. I'm sure after her first cruise (on the Dawn), she will be hooked like I am!!!!!!

I live just outside San Francisco and one of these days I'll cruise out of SF - I would be able to take public transit to the pier! With all the people taking the BART train to SFO & OAK, nobody would give a second though to our suitcases.

I get so jealous whenever I see a ship at pier 35 on my drive to work.

I know that we are both sailing the Sun on Jan 1, 2005. Now I see that you are bringing your mom. My father-in-law will be coming along with us. We took him in Jan 2003 on his first cruise since he went to Europe to fight in WWII. He loved it and is so excited to be joining us on this upcoming one. Does your Mom live with you in Florida or is she like my father-in-law and just spends the winters here, because Detroit winters are not much fun? Be well Debbie
