For many, it's the first stop after finding the cabin. The Lido buffet will be open.

It's the best thing to do if your cabin is not quite ready when you board. Drop off your carry ons at your cabin (most room stewards have no problem with that) and head for the FOOD at the buffet! :lol

No problem, the buffet will be open and it has everything, hot and cold, and, the bars are open as well. Such a life. How do we ever get by? Also, the Dining rooms will be open by about 6:00 pm if you get hungry after stoking up at the buffet.
Oooops...forgot about the all day pizza and hamburger stations on the pool decks. You should be able to make it throught the day. Don't forget the midnight buffets if you have a hunger pang late at night.

atseaagain: Princess doesn't do the midnight buffet thing but the Horizon Court is open 24 hours a day.

Absolutely! Get on the ship early, drop your carryons off in your cabin, grab a drink at the bar and head off to the buffet! Have a great cruise!

They'll even have a "drinks" cart in the buffet with wine and beer, so you don't have to make two stops.

Cannonball, I cou;d have sworn we saw a midnight buffet on the Ocean Princess. I may be getting my cruise lines mixed up though or perhaps the drinks were a bit stronger than I thought > ) We just completed our 11th cruise, this time on NCL (Hawaiian itinerary) and I know they had a deckside midnight buffet because it got rained out. Actually the weather in Hawaii was mostly liquid, and not from a bottle.

As stated above. Stop one is cabin to drop of carry on luggage. Stop two is the buffet for lunch. Stop three is the buffet for seconds on lunch. Stop four is the buffet for dessert. Yeap, you get lunch.

And if the Buffet line is too long, head for the pizza place or the outdoor grill.
