Is it too early to post this cruise?

This is my 1st cruise. I so excitted that I look for new information everyday. I know nothing, and am getting so much info I will confuse myself into knowing less before the day I leave. LOL

Have any of you taken this cruise on the Majesty? Please share all!

Thanks,
Teresa

Boy am I glad to hear somebody else is going on the Jan. 8th cruise and another Teresa at that (that's my name too). I have never been on NCL so can't help you any. My son is getting married on the ship and we are going with him on his honeymoon. They said that was fine as long as we were on opposite ends of the ship. They've been living together for two years, so I think they have had the honeymoon already.

We been on 9 or 10 cruises, but our first with NCL. We decided to do this one since we can drive to the port and people can come to the wedding. My future daughter-in-law's grandmother lives in Charleston and it just worked out good. We live in NC so it is only about a 5 hour drive for us.

I am sure we will enjoy ourselves. I've never been on a cruise I didn't like...some a little more than others. We need to keep in touch.

Hi #2 Teresa,
I am on the Jan. 1st through the 8th. Is that what you meant? I hope so.
I am a 1st timmer too, and so nervous. Mostly excited.
I'm doing a bit of sewing right now to get things ready, but I can hardly wait. I think about this day and night. LOL

Please keep in touch either way.

Nope we leave on the 8th of Jan. Sorry. What cabin are you in? We are in 3001, last cabin in the bow of the ship, cat. JJ. There will be three of us in there. Hope it's okay. We've been in smaller cabins, but not with 3 people in it. I don't really mind an inside cabin, but I do wish they were a little larger. I am sure we will enjoy it anyway. Getting away to somewhere warm is what I can't wait to do. Last December we went on a cruise to Hawaii and left NY in the big blizzard. It was absolutely the worst experience we've ever had on a trip, but once we were on the ship...finally (that's a story in itself) and we were two days out to sea, everything was wonderful. We called back to NC when we were in Maui driving around in a convertible with the top down and my son said there was 2 inches of ice on the roads and nobody was moving. I felt so bad for them.....sure.

Anyway, I hate we will be getting on when you guys are getting off, but warm things up for us. I am sure you will have a blast.

Teresa, My husband and I will be on the January 1 sailing on the Majesty. We have sailed with Norwegian twice before (on the Dream and the Star) and have been on several other cruises. We enjoy the freestyle dining and always prefer a mid-size ship such as the Majesty to the much larger ones. Please ask if you have questions that I might be able to answer. Right now I'm just trying to decide on clothes. It's hard to believe we will be in summer attire again when it was 21 degrees here this morning! You'll have a great time, I'm sure! We can't wait!
