You won't be diasppointed. I love the Majesty! It's a smaller ship with a huge charm about it. Everyone I know who has cruised on the Majesty feels exactly the same way I do. The staff treats you as if you're family, and they make you want to return over and over again. I've never been in October, so I can't tell you much about the seas at that time of year. The weather in Bermuda should be in the upper 70s, and much less humid than the summer months. Bermuda is just gorgeous. The scenery is absolutely breathtaking. There are a lot of shore excursions that you can book either through the ship, or on your own. I have done the Crystal Caves which is quite a sight to see. There are something like 80 steps though, so be prepared to climb back up. The St. George horse and carriage tour is really nice too. I loved how beautiful the scenic tour really was. The clip clop sound of the horses hooves walking the streets added to the charm of the ride. The driver narrates the entire tour giving you descriptions of everything you are seeing. They made a couple of stops for you to explore a fort and all. Tobacco Bay Beach is just about a 20 minute walk from the ship. I hear that snorkeling is the best there. It can get a little crowded, but I think you would enjoy it. You can go in the little cove where there are less people than the beach itself. Another thing I enjoyed was the Glass Bottom Boat, which is just outside the ship. Don't miss Caffe Latte for the best coffee in the area. It's just up the street from where the ship docks. It's also an internet cafe with cheap access. You can get one hour of internet time for $10, and you can log on more than once, until your hour is used up. The people who run it are a pleasure to talk to. This will be my 5th time, and I never miss my daily visit there for a frozen drink. You can sit inside or out on the patio. If you choose to use the Dine Ashore coupons from NCL, you will be charged $5 for a $25 food voucher for lunch. You may also upgrade it to a $50 voucher for just $10 for dinner. I use mine for lunch and dine at the Carriage House Restaurant in St. George. You will receive a restaurant guide with your documents, telling you of the participating restaurants. As for the ship, there are nightly parties on deck 10 while you're in Bermuda. They are a lot of fun, so you might want to check them out. The food in the dining rooms is very good, however, the buffet food varies. Sometimes it's good, other times it has been described as "identifiable food floating in sauce". :-( The pizza and hamburgers are usually a pretty good choice. You may also want to try the Pasta Cafe. I like that myself. The casino is a lot of fun, although I've never won big there. I do love to play bingo though. I cruised in July and won $2,000 on the final jackpot bingo. That's why I can afford to go back so soon. The shows in the Palace Theater are very good. The Production Company consists of a group of young people who are very talented, and entertain you to the fullest. The Majesty does not have all the glamour of the mega ships, however, I don't think you'll be disappointed at all. If you have any specific questions, feel free to email me at
