I would love to hear about sailings taken in late May - early June.

If you want my advice, AVOID the Majesty at all cost. You can read my posting here on this board a few line up entitled "Majesty/NCL a Joke"..

I have sailed the Majesty 4 times. 1996, 1997, 1999 and 2000, so it has been awhile since we have been on this ship. I would say that 2000 cruise was the best. Best food, best everything. We were actually aboard the first "freestyle" testing. I love Bermuda and its one of my favorite places to go BUT given all the negative feedback and the age of the ship I would have to rethink a cruise on the Majesty. Its convenient (though expensive) and its certainly a pleasure being in Bermuda for all that time. We now have a six year old and I don't think that the Kids Program on that ship would be fun for him. His only experience with Kids Programs was aboard the RCCL Explorer last May and he never wanted to spend any time with us. We are sailing the Dawn next year and the ship is beautiful I just hope the Kids Programs are just as great.

Good Luck with your decision.

I liked the Norwegian Majesty just fine. Not the best cruise ever, but pleasent all the same. I was actually surprised by the ship expecting it to be junk from all the bad rap. However it was nice. Now the Majesty Of the Seas (RCCL) was total crap! I have a review of both in the review section.

Ecstacy
Maasdam
NCL Majesty
Coral Princess
Zuiderdam
Majesty of the Seas
Mercury 5/29/04
Constellation 1/02/05

I was on the Majesty the first week of June 2002 to Bermuda....the first day out to Sea was winding and cool but sunny and a smooth sail...the three full days in Bermuda were beautiful....the temps were in the mid to high 80's.....we couldn't have asked for better weather...the trip back was rough....the ship was rocking and rough...we couldn't walk without holding on.....The ship it's self is a nice ship....it's not the top of the line, but a nice ship....I've been on the Dawn, Dream and the Norway as well, and the Majesty has the best top deck....it's flat with plenty of room and overhangs to dodge the sun and get some shade...The other ships have a multi level top decks so you are constantly climbing stairs...and no overhangs so there's no shade....

Thank you for the weather information. We are looking forward to the trip. We have sailed with NCL before and the only downside was the change in the itinerary and issues with shore excursions arranged through the ship. We loved everything else about our sailing with NCL especially the Free Style dining.
