visited Isle de Margarita on the Galaxy in 2002. The beach next to the dock was very disgusting-trash, ants- just bad. Most people left the ship,walkeed around for awhile and returned to the ship as if it was a "day at sea". One exception: if you're into italian art glass, one of the shops at the dock was a Murano factory store. They had some beautiful pieces at very reasonable prices.
