Massage question

Does anyone know how much massages typically run onboard Carnival cruises? I would be looking for about an hour long massage and I was wondering if the prices are similar as to how they are here at home which are typically $50-60/hr.

Also, I had some unexpected flight cancellation through ATA, and now I have to take a flight to Ft. Lauderdale when my cruise departs from and we have a prior night hotel stay in Miami. Does anyone know the cheapest way (taxi/shuttle/limo) to get from Ft. Lauderdale airport to the Miami port area hotels (between MIA and the Miami port) and about how much it would cost? You guys have all been a great help so far... this site is so helpful....

Thanks!

rachel, I think it costs about 25 or 30 for the taxi to miami port from ft. lauderdale,
but not positive. as for massages I believe my last one on a sea day was $109
for 50 minutes on a sea day. check as soon as you board and schedule as they
book very fast. also on port days massages are about 20 or 30 dollars less, so
what we do is book on a port day but for as close to sailing time as possible and
this way you can see the island and still get a great price for the massage.

Taxi from Mia to FLL will cost about 75.00.

We had 6 adults and used a stretch limo for 200.00 round trip. We used www.larryslimo.com
If there is only 2 people I am sure a town car will be a lot cheaper. I'd rather do a car service then a taxi.

I can only imagine if massages will cost 60 bucks how crowded it could be. Last cruise on the Miracle we got a great massage in Majuahaul (costa Maya) on the beach for 15.00 for 50 minutes. Very nice. relaxing.

If getting a massage on carnival make sure you state that youdont need/want to buy services or products or theyw ill give you a heavy duty sales pitch
