Maw wed report 3/23

Well I have talked with the nurses and Paw this afternoon and Maw has moved back to Parkview this morning. Paw said when he went to hospital early this morning she was sitting up in the chair with her leg up on the chair. He said she was talking, but was really sleepy. Dad said when he spoke with nurse they had orders to send her back to Parkview but was waiting for doctor signature and the doctor wouldn't be by till around 8:30. Paw then went back home, but they had called him when they moved her. I also spoke with the nurse at Parkview and they said she was still sleeping, but had woke up enough to eat a little lunch and seem to be resting well. She does have her phone again but when I called she didn't answer which is why I called the nurse. So I will try her tomorrow and just let her sleep things off the rest of today.:whistle:

Thanks for the update. Hope she has a good recovery & gets back home soon. Hope Paw is taking care of himself.

Brenda - from personal experience, the best thing MAW can do right now is rest up until they start her on PT.

She's making progress, and we like to hear that, bless her.

Thanks for the update Brenda. She has been through quite an ordeal so if she wants to sleep & is able to, then it is best that she be allowed to sleep. Just hope Paw doesn't tire himself out going back & forth.

Thanks for the update. First couple of days after surgery are the worst so Maw needs to sleep it off.

Thanks, Daw. The first couple of days after surgery are normally a tough time to come up out of the anesthesia. Hopefully tomorrow Maw will be her self again. (((HUGS)))

Glad to hear she is doing well. I sleep a lot too right after surgery. Great way to not deal with the pain. I hate taking pain meds.
