With such a large number of people from the boards aboard, everyone must be counting down the days. Anyone packed yet?

Hi Sage,

It seems unreal that it is coming so fast.
Am I supposed to pack???

Excited about exploring the ship and experiencing what you all do regular.

Mark,

No, you don't have to pack. They sell just about everything you need either on board or in the ports. I have been accused of not unpacking from the last cruise so that I would be ready in an instant. It's not true though, I did take out a pair of shoes and my toothbrush. I hope that you have a wonderful time, and it seems like you have a wonderful group going with you.

I've started the pre-pack countdown. Lists of what I need, plus the usual clothes. I will start to gather exactly what I am taking and see how it fits. Also, I check my immigration form 3x/day to see if my cabin has been assigned, even tho I know it won't be for another two weeks.

Jerz....

(1) Who is the CD?
(2) Who is the Internet manager? (If he looks and acts like Dom Deluise, he is -- I think-- Michael Taylor, a neat guy who will talk when not busy .. an art history expert.)
(3) Do they have the 2004 NE/C schedule yet?

thanx

If Michael Taylor is still the internet manager, would someone please ask if he will still be aboard on the December 8th sailing? He was so delightful that I look forward to seeing him again. I am so excited for everyone going, and it won't be long now.

In early April Rick was the CD. Michael was not the Internet Manager, but the young man who was was very friendly and helpful. I will get my info out from the cruise and post names later today.

When you are in the Internet Cafe and paying by the minute (or one of the packages they offer), doesn't it annoy you if the Internet Manager is busy chatting away while you are trying to do your "computer thing"? It's one thing if he is quietly tryng to assist someone; that's why he's there but when he is yakking away socially, I get irritated.

Doesn't bother me a bit. I've had to work in those conditions, and far worse, for so many years that I don't even notice it.

Docs are in. The Upgrade Fairy was busy with other people this time, but I'm grateful for all the times in the past it sprinkled its magic dust on my reservation. Already planning next year's, based on an advance list someone posted on CC/HAL.

Have a great Cruise, and check in every now and then if you can. Maybe one of these days you will look up and see us in the cabin across the hall from you.
