Melinda, the young woman who watches Pucci when I travel, was hospitalized during the night on an emergency basis with a large kidney stone that will need to be removed surgically. It's too large to pass "naturally".

Melinda sounds pretty drugged from pain medication. They're inserting a stent tomorrow afternoon, then she'll have to return in a week. The poor daughter has been through so much with the illness and traumatic death of her Father, and now her Mom in the hospital in severe pain.

Again, thank you. Melinda sounded very groggy when I spoke with her this morning - she's being heavily sedated. The procedure is scheduled for this afternoon at 4:00 local time.
