Maybe should check your cruise for OBC

I checked on my cruise today and although there was not another drop in price there was $50.00 on board credit.
I submitted claim form so here is hoping we get it I know every little bit will go towards us having even more fun!

Yup, Carnival's latest promotion is offering on board credit and the pricing is the same as the friends & family promo. No upgrades for VIFP though. $100 obc for 7 nights and $50 for shorter cruises.

wait... so if i booked with my VIFP ID. i do not qualify for the OBC being offered for this promotion?? so because it is not an drop in fare price, but an OBC they disallow you from the benefit??

ok.... so all is not lost. while my cabin didn't recieve the OBC, the cabin i booked for my brother did.... so i am wondering how gracious carnival is at the moment. i am considering calling and requesting the OBC for my cabin. i mean, i shouldn't be penalized or given less consideration simply because i am a past guest. i think it should be the other way around.... carnival should bend over backwards to thank past guests with the discounts and perks well before (or at least with the same consideration), than those who are sailing with them for the first time.

wait a minute here...... how did i get nominated to be the guinea pig????....smh.... just because i came up with the idea doesn't mean i gotta be the one to try it. I nominate jeff because he is the price drop king here lately, if anyone can get a rate reduction or OBC it's jeff..... most certainly!!

You brought it up!!! I think they are getting tired of hearing from me. I haven't had a price drop in almost two weeks!!!

Well, my cruise is still showing $20 higher than when I booked.
