Hey there..
Not only can I not get enough of cruising but just to be able to whatch especially these huge mega ships from my office window here in NYC saying to myself, Hey, I'd really like to book a cruise on that! It looks inviting!
For a brief, very brief time, It came, I saw, and I booked a cruise on the massive 109K ton Golden Princess, Not for the Canada/ New England run, but rather the ship itself.
And an even shorter view of the Christening of the Magnificent Grand Princess. She came, she went in one day and never seen again here.
Then I heard about the Magnificent Carnival Valor. I said WOW!! I'M GONNA SEE NEW VALOR! nope, Florida will. THen I heard about the Conquest!! WOW I'M GONNA SEE THE CONQUEST!! nope, Florida will : (
NYC should see RCI 142K ton Voyager of the seas starting May 16, '04 for a New England run, 5 nights. About the same time We'll also see Carnivals 88,500 Ton Carnival Legend, Carnival Spirit, and hopefuly the new Carnival Miracle. All sisters.
Then in April? I believe History will be made! ( I think so) both the Queens, QE2 and and Ultra Magnificent QM2 will be here in NY Harbor for the first time in 40 years and probably the last.
I really don't take to flying very well, and don't have the time or money for the extra costs for the flights, or hotels to meet these monumental vessels, and most of the time I just like to go down to the docks to take a quick photograph.
Thoughts?, Opinions? How do you guys feel?
