We took cc cabin 1062 whihc we have had before it was made a cc cabin...very convenient to pool deck--not sure if that's so great for Alaska! You get dbl credit for any cc booking!

Go for the concierge class. Well worth it. Do keep in mind if you are doing northbound or southbound, you want to be on the side of the ship facing the scenery. You will have to figure out which side it will be on & request a cabin on that side. If you do not request, you WILL be on the other side. Enjoy Alaska!

I never considered this..We are going around Vancouver Island--will have to check our cabin number If not guess we'll be on deck as we do the mini inside passage....

Just returned from this trip in May, I would go cc class well worth it! The goodies are excellent! Also if you are considering round trip out of seattle, I would suggest port side of ship. Going to Alaska day one is sea day away from land, day 2 is into Juneau At 1pm good view either side, ship will be docked on port side. day 3 is Skagway early arrival, port side will be facing away from dock/cliffs toward bay. Day 4 is a early arrival at Hubbard Glacier, only one hour there, but captain turns ships several times, good views on both sides. After leaving hubbard glacier, its out to open sea again for trip to Ketchikan, and from this point on you will be heading south, and facing land port side. On last afternoon, we sailed through inside passage, Very scenic once again both sides of ship. Hope this helps
