I haven't been on Mercury but was on Century two years ago just a week before she went in to dry dock for refurb. She was in Great shape before the overhaul so I am sure Mercury will be in fine shape after just a year since refurb. Celebrity and Royal Caribbean do a great job of maintaining their ships.Maybe someone else will have some first hand experience?
