midnight buffet

Is the midnight buffet only done one night or is it available more often?

I don't know if it depends on the ship but every one we've ever been on has had a midnight buffet. You definately won't go hungry on a cruise!

Is there a midnight buffet every night?

You'll find a small buffet [15 items or so] each night on the Lido Deck. The Gala Midnight Buffet [the one with the ice carvings and such] occurs only one night during your cruise.

There was a midnight buffet every night of our 7 day cruise on the Glory with plenty of food and desserts. The nightly buffet was held in the buffet style restaurant and one night they had a buffet out by the pool. There is one gala buffet one night of the cruise that has all the ice sculptures and food carvings. It's really neat and they usually have people come through first to take pictures.

What night is that gala buffet on the Glory? Sounds like we want to plan to be there. Do they keep the pool open late too?

The Gala Buffet is usually on the 2nd "formal night".

Pools close about 8pm. hot tubs are opened til 11- midnight.
