thanks so much for your quick reply steve. i appreciate hearing you had a great cruise-we are really excited about going- never cruised the med before. and never cruised celebrity before -only RCCL(didn't like the food) and HAL(liked the food).

another question to anyone out there. does anyone have a sample dinner menu for the millie for their regular dining room, all i could find is a menu for the olympic. also do menus vary according to cruise or are they the same for the ship no matter if cruising the mediterranean or elsewhere?

also any comments on room 7125 or 7127. my husband and i have a balcony and our daughters are across from us with an inside cabin.

freda: Just a quick question because this has always intrigued me - - why do you want/need a sample menu on the Millie?

I'm not the first person to ask for a menu but this is my reason. My family are fussy eaters and I like to know if there will be something for everyone on the menu. Also you can sometimes tell the quality of food by the selection on the menu.

But Freda you are going on a cruise next year. What is to say that the menu that is given to you today is going to be what they serve next year.

that's true. but hopefully it would be similar. it would only serve as a sample. its not a deal breaker, just an example of what may be ahead.

I understand why she wants to know, if for no other reason it's just fun, another way to get us all excited. Reading menues makes my cruise seem more real. As for this year versus next, most lines do not change their menues too often. Nita

Thanks for sticking up for me Nita. I have never been on a chat line before and thought it rather rude that I was asked why I would want to know the menu. You are right , it builds the excitment. If people can ask what type of coffee they serve on board , I can ask about menus. Thanks again Nita.

Freda: I apologize if I appeared rude. Didn't mean to. I was just curious. You are not the only one who wants to look at the menus before a cruise.

Nita: Menus are different depending on the cruise itinerary. Yes, they don't change much.

MaryL, I know they change some, but not much. Golly I have cruised many times and have seen the menus change just a tiny bit, but yes, some. NCL 7 day cruises will have about the same things whether you are doing eastern or western C, same with RCL and I have been told, though don't know for certain that the menues on the Millie class are identical. We will find out for certain starting this Saturday as it is our first Celebrity cruise. I am sure you didn't mean to come across so abruptly, but it is a question we see asked over and over.

I think that you can go to cruiseclues.com and they will have all sorts of recent menus from Celebrity. I not only like to preview the menus before I cruise but I also collect them!!

I've been on 6 cruises on 4 different cruise lines....and the menus are generally similar...but I still like to look too!! I checked out Cruiseclues.com and tried to check out the menus...the didn't offer my exact cruise.....but it still gave me the idea.

I just love to read about all the good food I'm going to get....lol...you'd think I never had that stuff before.....lol. There's just something really fun about doing it. Can't explain it! =)

Okay, Okay, I'll 'fess up' too.

I like to get a copy of the menus and pre-plan (read: fantasize about) what I will eat that night. .....Pretty pathetic, huh? :)

SPTROUT posted the specailty menu for the Summit on a posting titled "speciality dinner menu" dated 10-08-03. I do not know if the menu is the same on the Milli. The menu is the same for each night of the cruise.
