We are booked in a Cat AD mini suite
In the booking info it reads non-converting twins
Does this mean that the beds cannot be joined together?
Thanks

What ship are you refering to? I was in a AD category on both the Grand & Golden and our beds connected together. I suggest you call Princess or your travel agent to find out exactly what is what.

There's a whole long thread on this topic at Cruise Critic. Seems all (or the vast majority) of mini suites are reading "non-coverting twins". I wouldn't worry about it. But, call your TA and have him/her call Princess just to make sure. Our info reads the same exact thing and I'm not bothering to call because I'm 98% sure they ARE converting. There are very few fixed beds in the mini category, if any.

We had an AD category mini suite on the Island Princess and the twin beds are convertible into a queen sized bed. We had an AC on the Grand Princess and the same holds true on that ship. I have not had a mini suite where the beds were non-convertible. =huh

Also had an AD on the Grand, beds were converted upon arrival (which I requested). Even if you are traveling with a 3rd and 4th person, those beds are in the sitting area, so they wont even intefere with the main beds.
