As far as the canal, we did a tour through all of the locks (bus to boat)...simply amazing! You can do just about anything else anywhere else, but you might only get that chance once in a lifetime. I would encourage you to do that. One of my favorite pictures of my wife & I is of us with our hands on a wall of the canal where you can see how deep we are.As far as COSTA RICA.....The BEST excursion I have EVER done on ANY cruise ANYWHERE is the "CRAZY MONKEY CANOPY TOUR" in CR!.
