We returned yesterday from an 8 day Western Caribbean cruise on the Miracle. This was our 16th cruise (3 CCL, 10 RCCL, and 3 Celebrity). We cruised to Alaska on the Spirit when it was new, and the Triumph April 08.
The Miracle is very clean, friendly crew, food was not great..just okay. Cruise director is Josh from Chicago. No comment. We felt in the dining room there were less waiters/assist. waiters than on previous cruises. Our waiter & his assistant did not work well together. The assistant would disappear, but he could have been helping in another area. Never the less, we got served in a timely manner. Dress code for formal night is a joke. CCL refers to formal night as "Cruise Elegant". Guests came to the dining room w/ shorts & were not turned away. One man was told to remove his ball cap. Cruise casaul nights, more shorts.
Choose this itinerary since we had not been to Limon, Colon, or Belize. One time will be enough for that itinerary. I thought I had done a lot of research on these 3 ports. Will stay with the Caribbean Islands.
