We embarked Elation in Mobile in July 2010. I forgot to record in my journal the time we arrived at the terminal, yet I did mention that we made taxi arrangements for 11:15. (Flat rate $15 from the Battle House Renaissance.) So, we probably got to the terminal around 11:30-11:40. The lines were already long by then, but we had VIP status, and were all set to board within 15 minutes. Everything was well-marked, and there were many Carnival reps to assist.Disembarkation was another story. We were in the first group (after those who elected self-disembarkation), were called a little before 9:00 and didn't get through Customs until 9:45. Ours was a 7-night cruise and I was surprised at how many pax carried off all of their own luggage. But, embarkation was a breeze.
