Spent a week at a resort in MoBay last year and loved it. Went to MoBay on the Freedom in October. Took the kids and grandkids to Sunset Beach Resort, which is just a short cab ride from the pier. Got a day pass, got to use their water park, eat and drink whatever we wanted, including alcohol. Had a great day.
Shopping in MoBay is fine if that's your bag. They've cleaned it up quite a bit, no one harassed us on the streets to buy drugs (but we don't look like the drug type, we're too old), Our kids aren't too old, and no one bothered them either.
I think it's much nicer than Ocho Rios, but that's JMHO.
