What a little scamp he is. Even tho he had that infection on his back, you would never have known it. He is very playful. He just loves Maxie, and is getting to be better friends with Scooter. He and Scoots play, but only sleep together once in a while. I think Simon thinks Max is his father. I wish I could capture for you what it sounds like in here when all three are having cat fits at the same time. The windows rattle, the floors shake, I think it registers on the Richter scale.
It is getting hard to get Simon's antibiotics down him. He hates the taste and the eyedropper. He seems to know when I am going to try to catch him, even if I hide they syringe. I am afraid I am scaring an already skittish kitten.
Sometimes he will act as if he is still wild, and then suddenly come up and want petting. I sat down for a nap the other day, and he climbed up and sat on my chest, close enough that from time to time he would raise his head and rub my chin.
A couple times he has come and curled up next to me on the bed. I throw the covers over him and hold him close and he purrs and purrs. He has developed this little chirp. Sounds like doves on the porch. He walks around making this noise driving me crazy looking for birds. Sometimes he sounds like water dripping.
I hope he doesn't think I am abandoning him again when I take him to the vet. How much do you think they know? He looks so sad when I have to catch him for the vet. He looks at me like he is thinking, "and I trusted you!". He really is a little sweetheart.
OK, photos.
They all had designs on the red spider.
Simon and Max decide to argue over it, and Scooter is left with the spider. They really are just playing.
He wore out the big guys, so they went for naps.
He came up on my desk to visit me, and I put on his video for him. When he heard the purring coming out of the speakers, he had to investigate.
