MORE CELEBRITY REVIEWS NEEDED

HEY ALL YOU CRUISE @DDICTS!
I can't believe that nobody is posting a Celebrity Review lately. There are many people who just stop by this board to read a review in their quest to find the perfect cruise. It seems like we have only had a few new reviews in the past weeks/months.

I know that many of you have just returned from your first or fiftieth cruise and I think that it is important for you to relive those wonderful days on the high seas. You don't have to go into excruciating detail about the boring flight down or the horrible hotel. Just give us the "good stuff" about the ship. @DDICTED MINDS WANT TO KNOW !!!

Just returned from May 17th Century...first time on Celebrity...had the TIME OF MY LIFE....it was better than I ever imagined..when the cruise exceeds ALL YOUR EXPECTATIONS...that is really what happened.
The Food, Crew, Passangers....EVERYTHING........I had booked back in January and so, after 5 months of planning, anticipating, more planning...it arrived...
I posted a full review on Cruise Critic's Celebrity Board...if any of you care to read it.
I am PC CHALLENGED..so I don't know how to put that review on here.
Truley, I had a marvelous marvelous time ...so much so, I am sailing her again.
I was on the Eastern Itinerary, next time I will do the Western. I want to sail her again, before I try another ship.
It felt so homey....love the size of her....not too big..not too small...it was Perfect for me.
I sailed solo, met quite a few people from the Internet....and met some of the crew early in the cruise..felt VERY WELCOMED ...and, well, I could on and on..and on... LOL....
One of the BEST VACATIONS I HAVE HAD IN YEARS!!!!!!
Cannot wait to go back again:)
Any questions, Please ask:) Will be glad to answer...

HI LOIS,

We were on the Century last October and had a fabulous time. I had given up on 7 day cruises and this one rejuvenated me completely. I think that the Century will go down in history as one of those ships that just fit perfectly like an old glove (Gucci, of course!!).

Why don't you contact John: John@cruise-addicts.com and I'm sure that he will get your review on this site. It was such a good review but I think it lacked enthusiasm...
JUST KIDDING!!!!! It really was a great review and I'm sure all of us CRUISE ADDICTS will appreciate it.

Thanks,

ROSS

Ross,
Just back from the 6/13 Infinity Alaska cruise and can't speak highly enough about it. It was so phenomenal that the amazing scenery seemed almost likean undeserved bonus! The service and food were just extraordinary and we have almost impossibly high standards . We have special vegetarian diet requirements and didn't think they would be able to accommodate us individually but we were wrong. They went way beyond their standard daily vegetarian offerings for all meals, even inviting us to meet with the chef and head of the restaurants at the beginning of the cruise to better accommodate us. All the cabins we saw looked good though my father upgraded to a Sky Suite and the larger room, veranda, and butler service made it outstanding. Our travel agency/trip consolidator had booked us in the bow which was unfortunate since we pitched right into each wave the first night out of Vancouver. We couldn't switch cabins because the ship was full. Luckily we didn't have rough seas the rest of the ship. All the suggestions to book aft cabins are good ones. Even on a full ship ,though, I found myself alone on deck 4 in a lounge chair watching the scenery one day which I thought quite remarkable. We dressed more formally than almost everyone else after I'd read it is the most formal of all cruise ships. But this might have been due to a large group on board who had won the trip through their company (over 700 of them). Perhaps they hadn't been informed of the dress codes. I even saw a woman in a turtleneck sweater and leather vest on formal night in the Trellis restaurant. I had heard they strictly enforce the dress code on the Infinity but have also read the Alaska cruises are more casual in general.

THANKS SO MUCH FOR YOUR INFO ELAINE.

It would be even better if you could write a review (PLEASE!!) and post it to the review section. It is amazing how many extra details come out when you sit down and recount the trip in sequential order. I can't tell you how impoortant it is to shed light and release little nuggets of information. My whole point is that there are not enough recent reviews in the Celebrity section of the Review board on Cruise @ddicts. There are a lot of people who will read your postings and it will greatly help this board maintain its outstanding reputation. Cruise @ddicts really lets the cruisers tell their stories without tampering. There are other boards that remove posts if their "registered TAs" feel you are giving away information that they think hurts their commercial endeavors.

I was glad to hear that your father was able to upgrade to a Sky Suite. The Celebrity Suite experience is something we can all look forward to if you have not experienced it.

Thank you,

ROSS

Ross'
I posted a review yesterday which I can't find today but it was under Cruise Critics reviews rather than Cruise @dddicts. When I can I will try to post it where you suggested as I wonder if Cruise Critics did remove it.. (It was there yesterday.)
