I don't know if you can set the camera to get any better results, however if you have a good imaging program on your computer, you can achieve the same results by adding red or magenta until the details come out. Not sure why it works, but it really does. Sometimes even 1 yellow helps. I have Dell Image Expert for my editing program, it has a Quick Fix button that does really amazing thinks to photos. We went to Coral World in St Thomas, where we were inside and photographed fish thru the window. It worked best without the flash at all, then the Image Expert brought out details. Wish I could tell you more. connie
