Concierge class is worth the price, in my opinion. You get the largest non-suite cabins on the ship, with a number of perks like
a bottle of welcome aboard champagne, canapes each evening, and fresh flowers in your room. If you are a Captain's Club member,
you get double credit for a 7 night cruise.
Poolside lounge chairs can be difficult to come by on sea days, but otherwise are usually available. And, if you are willing to go up
one deck, there are always plenty of loungers available. The toughest chairs to come by are those inside, by the T-pool. Simply
because that area is much smaller, and there are fewer chairs to begin with, and due to its popularity, these chairs go early almost
every day.
The casino is fine, in my opinion. It is, however, like every casino on the face of the earth. The odds favor the house, and more people
lose than win.
The champagne bar and martini bar share a large space that attracts a lot of business, particularly before dinner each evening as people stop in to have a pre or post dinner drink. In my experience, the martini bar has triple the number of customers than the
martini bar, though that may simply reflect the relative proportion of people who prefer one over the other. If you go after the second
seating, both will be quieter and the service will be less rushed. Also, do not overlook having a drink, including champagne if you like,
at the Cova Cafe prior to dinner. They usually have live entertainment at that time that we find enjoyable, and its a nice spot for a drink.
